The Tánaiste says people who refuse to take the AstraZeneca vaccine ‘will have to wait until the end’ of the vaccine programme for another one.
Leo Varadkar was speaking as a new online portal opens for people aged 69 to register for the vaccine and will open to those aged 65-68 over the coming days.
People in their 60s are to mainly receive the AstraZeneca vaccine following reports of rare blood clots in younger people.

The new vaccine booking portal went live from 10am, with appointments bookable both online and by phone.
It'll initially be available to those aged 69, before opening to those aged 65-68 over the coming days.
Meanwhile, government insists its target of offering a first dose to 80 percent of adults by the end of June remains on track, despite recent issues with Johnson and Johnson and AstraZeneca.
