A local Senator says he doesn't know if the new Government will last its five year term.

Joe O'Reilly says he doesn't believe anyone will bring down the Government because they'd be "savaged".

There's been disquiet in party ranks after high profile TDs were passed over for ministerial posts in the new cabinet, especially in Fianna Fáil.

Fine Gael Senator Joe O'Reilly says the Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and Green Party coalition has a strong majority and he's optimistic it will serve his term.
