District Support Team (DST) officers across the south area carried out a proactive Anti-Crime Operation recently that targeted drugs and road safety from Belleek in Co Fermanagh to Downpatrick.
During the operation within Fermanagh and Omagh alone, quantities of Class A and Class B Drugs were located, as well as a large quantity of cash which was seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Officers also seized a vehicle for no Insurance; located a disqualified driver; and reported a motorist for several road traffic offences including driving while unaccompanied. Six separate individuals are subsequently assisting Police with their enquiries.
