An anonymous donor has helped the Down Syndrome Centre North East raise over €50,000.
The Carrickmacross-based centre held its annual 321Go Neon in March to help keep subsidising services for children and families in the north-east region.
Along with other supporters, an anonymous sponsor came on-board for the event and match funded to last year's amount, meaning a total of €52,766 was collected from the fundraiser.
The centre supports over 80 members and is seen as a home from home for children with Down Syndrome, and last month it was announced that it will be a key part of a new care model that aims to reduce local PDS waiting lists.
