The annual Virginia Show will return to Co Cavan this Wednesday the 21st of August. This year marks the 81st year of the popular event. Every year the town becomes a "hive of activity" with people coming from all over the country to see what the Virginia Show has in store.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr TP O'Reilly said that year promises to be a fun-filled day with something for all the family to enjoy. He said that it's special to see such a much-loved community event attract a national audience with visitors travelling from all over Ireland.
