Members of the Shercock community in Cavan, will meet on Fairhill at 10am today and tomorrow as part of its annual 'Spring Clean' event.
Carol Smyth, is part of the Shercock Tidy Towns Group and says the event is something for all the family, both young and old, to enjoy.
This will be the first time since the Covid pandemic that locals can come together for the popular community clean.

Carol added that volunteers will be expected to help pick litter in the town, on approach roads and to weed and clean up plant and flower beds.
