Annual delegates conference takes place in Cavan

A three-day military representative association conference is taking place in Cavan today. The Permanent Defence Force Other Ranks Representative Association (PDFORRA) Annual Delegate Conference will take place at the Slieve Russell Hotel in Ballyconnell from this morning. The group last met in Cavan in 2017, when issues even then centred on concerns over pay, allowances, recruitment, retention, and accommodation. It will see over 125 delegates from across the 3 Arms of the Defence Forces in attendance for 3 days.
