Combilift in conjunction with Cavan Monaghan Education and Training Board is holding an opening evening next Wednesday at its Monaghan town site.
The evening will afford those interested in a career with the company but want to participate in a course and get hands on and practical experience at the same time are being invited to come along and see what Comblift has to offer.
The Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) Engineering Traineeship now entering its 10th Year is a nine-month course aimed at developing the skilled personnel the company needs to support its continued future growth. Over 90% of Trainees successfully gain employment from the course with Combilift. Martin McVicar - Managing Director of Combilift says that by opting for the Traineeship students are offered a fantastic opportunity to qualify with an internationally recognised QQI Level 5 qualification, locally and in 9 short months.
The opportunity to be fast-tracked in a job application to Combilift on completion of the course, has attracted a large number of applications from students in Monaghan, Cavan, Meath, Galway, Armagh, and Tyrone since the courses inception over the past decade. Over 120 people have completed the traineeship to date and in turn a high number of them gaining a full time job at the local company
An information evening will take place on Wednesday the 8th of May at 6.30pm in Combilift’s Global Headquarters (Eircode: H16 VP65). Martin says applicants will have the opportunity to have a guided tour of Combilift, talk with course tutors, past and current Trainees and have all their questions answered at this information evening.
