The much-anticipated 64th annual Arva Agriculture show kicks off today in the picturesque west Cavan town.
There's lots on offer including livestock, home craft competitions, dog show and lots more for people of all ages to enjoy.
Show Organiser, Jim Finnegan, says the event has been a firm favourite with crowds over the decades,
He also highlighted how the support and fundraising efforts of the local community is to be commended.
Jim added that local Minister Heather Humphreys will also be in attendance during today's proceedings.
"We have 21,000 in prize money for people who are exhibiting. There are exhibiters with horses, cattle. sheep, goats, home industry, and school. Also we will have a world of side shows, entertainment, music on the gig rig. We will have Donie Anderson with his herding geese. We will have a free children's play area on the show day. We're delighted to say that Heather Humphreys will be in attendance."
