There's been an increase locally in the number of people on the Live Register.
However, the figure nationally fell slightly last month when compared to June.
CSO figures show that 3,411 people were on the Live Register in Co Cavan last month.
That's an increase on the month previous, with 3,139 people in Cavan on the Register in June.
It's also an annual increase - 3,078 people in Cavan were on the Register in July of last year.
It's a similar situation in Co Monaghan, with 2,540 people on the Register last month.
That compares to a figure of 2,445 in June of this year, and 2,274 when compared to July of last year.
Nationally however, there was a month-to-month decrease of 1,200, with 183,300 people counted in July, when adjusted for the summer season,
Meanwhile, the number of people coming from Ukraine on the Live Register went up nearly 2,800, to a total of over 9,900.
