Tributes are continuing to be paid to mother of five Annie Heyneman.
The popular local woman was killed in her rural home on Derrycasan Lane in Kilnavart, Ballyconnell last Saturday evening. Her son Danny Heyneman has been charged with her murder. Ever since this tragic news emerged there has been a dark cloud casted over the West Cavan area.
Annie was a popular person in her wider community with so many coming out to pay tribute to her online ahead of her funeral arrangements being released. In an online post from the Templeport Development Association they said Annie was a mother, a friend, a neighbour and a vibrant part of our community.
They said she was a beautiful woman, a kind, caring, gentle soul and probably familiar to most in our area, with her warm smile and helping hand. One person posted online saying they didn't know Annie but from reading about her and her work with people with additional needs and the love she brought to the world - she sounds like one in a million.
A childhood friend said that you were always guaranteed a laugh with Annie adding her bubbly personality was infectious. Another person described her as a kind, caring and chatty person.
While another said they hoped Annie gets the best seat in Heaven. While a local business located next door to where Annie had worked said she was always jolly, always had time for everyone and was always smiling.
