An event that will inspire and encourage transgender individuals to explore their own identity through discovering personal style will take place at the Hotel Kilmore in Cavan later this month.
The gathering is being hosted by Outcomers Dundalk and guest speaker Rebecca Tallon De Havilland will be present on the night.
Rebecca, who hails from Co Longford, became the first transgender woman in Ireland and started out in her career as a hairstylist before opening her own modeling agency.
Speaking to Northern Sound, she said it's "amazing" to see events like this being held in towns outside of the main urban centers like Dublin and London.
Rebecca added that Ireland has come along way in its acceptance of transgender individuals, particularly over the last five years.
