Among the border counties, Cavan has recorded the largest growth in new .ie domain registrations when compared to pre-pandemic levels.
The latest report from .ie, which is Ireland's domain manager, shows a 22.5% increase in domain registrations in Cavan in the first half of this year, when compared to the first half of 2019.
In total, there have been 278 new registrations in the county in the first six months of this year.
Co Monaghan also performed well with a 16.8% increase in new domains registrations when compared to the first half of 2019, with 153 new DOT IE registrations.
Commenting on the figures, .ie said "businesses are using their websites as a core part of their business post-pandemic, seamlessly linking their physical premises with their digital presence".
