Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board is set to benefit from almost €860,000 of funding to support youth services in the region.
Close to €530,000 of this will go to the "Your Place Your Space" scheme, which funds organisations that help young people who are marginalised, disadvantaged, or vulnerable.
The funding was confirmed by Children's Minister Roderic O'Gorman and €66.8 million has been allocated for the provision of youth services nationwide.

This includes €12 million for 30 National Youth Organisations, including Youth Work Ireland, Scouting Ireland, and Macra na Feirme.
