Almost €7 million has been announced for four major projects across Cavan and Monaghan.
The projects in Carrickmacross, Bailieborough, Newbliss and Ballyconnell are sharing in the money from the Department of Community and Rural Development.
Local Minister Heather Humphreys is today announcing the funding for two projects in Cavan and two in Monaghan.
€3.1 million of it is going towards the CTek II, a new Enterprise and co-working hub in Carrickmacross.
Another €1.4 million is for the renovation of the former council offices and Court House in Newbliss which will be converted into a digital and enterprise hub.
In Cavan, the Bailieborough Court House is to be converted into Ireland's first plantation museum.
€1.4 million will go towards the project, which will also include space for remote working and a youth facility.
€795,000 will be spent renovating the Ballyconnell Market House, which will become a new community, remote working and tourism hub.
