Almost 230 million euro from the receipts of the National Lottery went to good causes in 2023.
The first ever 'good causes' report has been published this morning outlining that 65 per cent of lotto profits, after prizes are discounted, went to charities and other organisations.
Public Expenditure Minister Paschal Donohoe signed off on the report:
