Monaghan Veteran and Vintage Club is holding its annual rally this Sunday, the 2nd of July in Clontibret. The day will include a special display of Muir-Hill tractors and the launch of a new club as well as working arena, birds of prey display, dog show and much, much more.
All proceeds raised on the day will go to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative care and Crocus Monaghan. The Club's John Doran told Northern Sound that enthusiasts come from all over Ireland to the local event.
He added it's the 34th year of the show and it goes from strength to strength with each passing occasion. "This is the 34th year of having the rally in Clontibret. It's all about a vintage display of cars, tractors, traditional crafts and different arena events.
"There are vintage rallies held up and down the country but we were one of the first to get up and going here in Clontibret back in 1987. We now have one of the largest vintage shows in the country and we are really looking forward to this weekend," said John.
