A Monaghan Poultry farmer says the housing of all birds due to the risk of avian flu should be tackled with an all-Ireland approach.
The former IFA Regional chairman for Ulster/North Leinster Nigel Reneghan says that the order issued to house birds by the Minister for Agriculture Charlie McConalogue because of bird flu isn't workable.
The Monaghan farmer says the virus is spread through air and for this reason poultry in Northern Ireland should be housed at all times also.
