Cavan County Council says details requested in relation to the planning application "have not been received by the Planning Authority".

The German retailer confirmed last week that it wouldn't be progressing with the store.

Vanilla Bean Patisserie products are available to buy in Aldi stores nationwide from today.

In 2019, An Bord Pleanala granted full planning permission for the store to be build on land known as McNally’s Car Park.

Monaghan County Council confirmed that from September 30th, it will no longer be operating the site.
