Áine Smith looks set to retain her seat in the Cavan-Belturbet area final tallies show.
The Fianna Fáil candidate has topped the final tally with 1675 first preference votes. Independent candidate Brendan Fay is also looking set to retain his seat with 1611 votes. Niamh Brady (FG), John Paul Feeley (FF) and Sinn Féin's Damien Brady are closely matched for the last few seats.
