Uisce Éireann crews will be working in Griffith Park, Cootehill in the coming days.
The work will involve replacing almost 250metres of aged cast iron water mains with modern pipes along with the replacement of backyard services.
The works will be carried out by Farrans Construction and will be completed by the end of November.
Uisce Éireann advises the work may require some short-term water interruptions and traffic management will be in place.
The water company thanked the residents of Griffith Park who have co-operated with them in carrying out the programme.
A spokesperson for Uisce Éireann said the works which will "not only result in significant water savings but will also reduce the number of bursts and outages impacting customers".
