Aaron Brady has received a three-year prison sentence for trying to pervert the course of justice during his trial for the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.
The 33-year-old, who’s from Crossmaglen in County Armagh, recorded a video of a key witness giving a statement to Gardaí - clips of which ended up online.
He also admitted conspiring with a fellow prisoner to try and convince another key witness not to testify at his trial. Brady is already serving a life sentence for murdering Detective Garda Donohoe during a robbery outside Lordship Credit Union in Louth in 2013.
