Aaron Brady has admitted a charge of perverting the course of justice by recording the playing of a video of a witness in his murder trial being interviewed by Gardaí. The 33-year-old, who's from Crossmaglen in Armagh, is serving a life sentence for the capital murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe in 2013.
He was due to stand trial this week but changed his plea this morning, and will be sentenced at a later date. His defence barrister failed to convince the judges to impose reporting restrictions while his client awaits a decision from the Court of Appeal.
