A local Green Party candidate who is running in the local elections next year says he wants to be a voice for all.
24 year old Tate Donnelly from Mullyash near Castleblayney has previously stood as the Green Party candidate in Cavan Monaghan in the 2020 General Election, where he obtained 2,500 first preference votes.
He says he wants to see further funding invested in mental health, reducing isolation and improving quality of life for people living in the region.
Creating vibrancy around our towns and villages and making sure all are included in our community are all a massive part of helping with mental health according to the local candidate.
The local Green Party representative is set to run in the Carrickmacross- Castleblayney Municipal District which takes in Carrickmacross and Castleblayney towns, the villages of Oram, Inniskeen, and Annyalla, and their rural hinterlands. Tate says he wants to be a voice for the community for people of all ages and to help create an inclusive environment at all times.
