A new Defibrillator has been installed in Dartrey Forest Park.
It's located beside Erica's Fairy Forest and close to the toilet area.
Monaghan County Council says the new defibrillator is monitored by CCTV, and asks that the Council is informed of any uses of the equipment.

In an online post, the Council added that it is a life-saving piece of equipment and should be respected as such.
There have been a number of acts of vandalism to defibrillators in the county, and in January past, a defibrillator at the Patrick Kavanagh Centre had to be temporarily moved indoors as a result of "tampering".
