The manager of the store revealed it's the biggest prize that the store has ever sold and its understood the winner is a local person.
Fran Whearty, Communications Executive with the National Lottery says its cost €1 to win the €1 million jackpot.
It's crazy, it one of our smaller games- people don't realise the amount of winners we have with Daily Millions because its 39 numbers similar to the old Lotto draw years ago, the odds of winning the top prize is really good and for €1 to be in with a chance of the top prize of €1 million it really really good.
This is a nice amount of money to buy a house or pay off the mortgage, its even a nice amount to help family and friends with spreading the win to them also.
