Lotto luck is shining on the Co Meath village of Duleek once again. I'ts been revealed the winning ticket for last Saturday's jackpot of almost 4 million euro was sold at the EuroSpar in the town.
It's Duleek's second winning jackpot in less than six months. A syndicate won €8.9 million with a ticket bought in a neighbouring store last October. The winner has now made contact with lottery HQ.
Owner of the EuroSpar Shane Bowe says there's furious speculation about who the new winner is. "We have completely revamped the store to a new look and feel for the village. "So, this is the icing on the cake really; a new store in the village; and now we have a new millionaire as well. There is great excitement and it does seem to be a lucky place to do your Lotto, that's all I can say," he added.
