Charlie McGill is attempting 14 marathons in 14 days to raise awareness around mental health and parental alienation.
And earlier today, as he made his way from Carrickmacross to Market Hill, a number of local people joined him along the route.
Charlie's effort will support the La Dolce Vita project and its founder Donna Maria Logue spoke to Northern Sound this afternoon.
Donna Marie praised Charlie's attempt to raise awareness around what she described, as "very important" subject matter.
Donna Marie also highlighted how those joining Charlie along the route are finding the whole experience "humbling".
"Some of the people I have spoken with talked about how humbling an experience it is to walk and talk with Charlie," she added.
"They say he has opened the conversation for the voiceless."
