A 77-year-old Cavan resident is set to go on trial next year accused of rape and indecent assault.
The man, who can't be named for legal reasons, is accused of one count of rape and nine counts of indecent assault.
The Central Criminal Court heard that the allegations are historic and the trial is expected to last two weeks. Mr Justice Paul McDermott set a trial date of July 8, 2024.
