77 appeals have been made by Cavan businesses over the payment of the Restart Grant.
The fund was launched in May of this year for rates-paying companies that were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It was due to close at the end of August, but instead closed in July to make way for the Restart Plus scheme.
In a response to Fianna Fail Councillor Aiden Fitzpatrick, Cavan County Council confirmed that 77 appeals totalling €222,000 have been lodged by those who felt they should have received the support.
Funding is being secured for those who missed out, and will be dealt with after all current eligible grant applications are paid out.
