72 dwelling completions across Cavan-Monaghan in Q3 of this year

72 new dwellings were completed across Cavan and Monaghan in the third quarter of this year

45 dwellings were completed between July and September in Co Cavan, and 27 in Monaghan.

The Ballyjamesduff LEA had the most completions locally, at 20.

Elsewhere in Co Cavan, 13 dwellings were completed in Cavan-Belturbet and 12 in Bailieborough-Cootehill.

Across Co Monaghan, 15 dwellings were completed in Carrickmacross-Castleblayney, and 11 a piece in the Monaghan LEA and Ballybay-Clones.

The number of new dwelling completions was down 18.4% in the border region, and down 7.7% nationwide, when compared to Quarter 3 of 2020.
