Monaghan County Council is still receiving pledges of properties under the 'offer a home' scheme. The scheme was launched to offer people coming from Ukraine a home to stay in while the war continues in their home country. To date, the local authority has had a total number of 58 properties pledged.
Of these 28 have been allocated, 12 were subsequently withdrawn, six were assessed as not viable and due to works required to bring them up to standard or due to location. The remainder are currently being assessed or are in the process of having works carried out on them.
