A 47-year old man who allegedly threatened to kill Gardaí in Cootehill in
June is to be brought before Cavan District Court next month in relation to
the charges.
Ciaran Brady of Aghatoten, Tullyvin, Cavan, is charged with threatening to
kill a Gardaí and with possession of sharp-pointed scissors.
The alleged incident happened at Aghatoten, Tullyvin on June 22nd.

Sergeant Paddy McGirl said that DPP directions had been received for the
matter to be dealt with at District Court level.
Mr Brady, who appeared before Harristown District Court by video link
yesterday, has been remanded in custody to appear in court in Cavan on
September 3th.
