Sinn Fein has accused the government of 'paying lip service' in its calls for energy companies to reduce their prices.
It comes as new figures from the energy regulator CRU show over 400,000 households were behind in their energy bills at the end of May.
Consumer prices remain high despite wholesale prices continuing to drop.
