Over four-hundred cases of Covid have been recorded in the Shannonside Northern Sound region in the last fortnight.
New figures from the HPSC reveal that Monaghan's 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 population is now the second highest in the country at 226.4 after it recorded 139 cases between the 22nd of September and the 5th of October.
Roscommon has the fourth highest incidence rate of the virus - with 99 cases in the last two weeks.
Longford's rate is 151.7 after 62 cases in the last 14 days and Cavan's 102 cases has brought their rate to 133.9.
