Three Monaghan companies and one Cavan business have been awarded an Ireland’s Best Managed Companies accolade. The 14th annual awards programme which is led by Deloitte in association with Bank of Ireland took place at a Gala event earlier this week.
Meanwhile, in Monaghan Combilift was recognised for the 10th consecutive year while Errigal Contracts and McAree Engineering LTD also emerged victorious. In Cavan, Obelisk clinched the title.
This year, Deloitte recognised 136 indigenous companies at the awards - all of which have a combined turnover of €13.9bn and provide over 51,000 jobs across Ireland. Brian Murphy, Lead Partner for Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Awards Programme said that every year’s entries raise the bar of the awards higher.
“Despite the challenges these businesses faced, the management teams of the winning companies have embraced new opportunities for innovation and growth, offering best-in-class products and services to their customers and retaining their competitive advantage in a world that is ever-changing,” he added.
