The 35th anniversary mass for Aidan McAnespie will take place in Clara Chapel tomorrow.
His family fought for justice for over 34 years to get some closure into the Monaghan man's killing.
It's the first anniversary where members of Aidan's family will gather knowing they have finally gotten justice for the Aidan following a manslaughter conviction. Aidan was shot in the back on his way to a Gaelic football match in Co Tyrone. 53-year-old David Holden who was a British soldier was found guilty of Aidan's manslaughter late last year and last month was handed down a three-year suspended sentence Aidan's sister-in-law Brenda says Aidan was a happy go lucky fella who loved his family.
