31 on trolleys in Cavan General ED this morning

In Cavan General Hospital, 31 patients are awaiting treatment on trolleys so far today. The latest figure from the INMO's trolley watch monitor follows a recent pattern of daily trolley waits for people attending the hospital's Emergency Department.

As is always the advice, people are asked to find alternative pathways for treatment where possible but be assured that emergency treatment will be provided at Cavan General where necessary. Nationally, 606 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch. 419 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 187 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
