30 new homes at Coill Darach in Castleblayney

30 new homes in Castleblayney are expected to be ready for occupation by March of this year. Geda Construction completed 30 new homes in Coill Darach, Castleblayney in December 2022.It was intended that the houses would be occupied in January 2023 however issues with the new water main prevented occupation.

Close cooperation between Monaghan County Council, Geda Construction and Irish Water is ensuring that the watermain issue is addressed and the houses are now due to be ready for March 2023. According to Monaghan County Council, the houses have been constructed to a very high standard with a minimum Energy Rating of A2.
