Three men are due to be charged today in connection with the attempted murder of a PSNI officer in Co Tyrone.
The 45, 47 and 58 year olds were arrested yesterday and face charges of preparatory acts of terrorism in relation to the gun attack on Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell in Omagh last February.
Two of the men are also facing charges of possession of articles for use in terrorism, and providing property for the purposes of terrorism, when they appear before Belfast Magistrates Court.
