New figures on Covid-19 deaths released by the Central Statistics Office this morning show that 395 deaths occurred in Ulster.
102 people died in Cavan while 110 others died from the virus in Monaghan.
The figures, which focused on the months between March 2020 and February 2022, highlight how 59% of Covid-19 related deaths occurred in general or orthopaedic hospitals while 29% were in nursing homes.
Dublin City recorded the highest number of deaths - 951, while Co Leitrim recorded the fewest number - 26.
Meanwhile, in Cavan three of the deaths were in the 45-54 years age group; four were in the 55-64; 17 were in the 65-74 years; 36 in the 75-84; and 42 were in the 85+ category.
In Monaghan, one death occurred in the 35-44 years; six were in the the 55-64 years; 17 in the 66-74; 32 in the 75-84 years and 54 in the 85+ years.
