Minister for Education Norma Foley has announced the provision of two mainstream classrooms for St Aidan's Comprehensive School in Cootehill. The Minister made the announcement this afternoon.
Principal, Marianne Smith, the school staff, the Board of Management and the Parents' Association are being praised for their efforts in securing the build. Local Fianna Fail TD, Deputy Brendan Smith has congratulated all those involved.
He added that he will continue to support the school in its endeavours to provide additional facilities in Cootehill. “I wish to compliment the Principal, staff, the Board of Management and the Parents Association in submitting a successful application," said Deputy Smith.
