Two suspects were due in court in Newry today charged in connection with a kidnapping in Armagh at the weekend. A man was bundled into a car in Silverbridge in Co Armagh on Saturday night, before being driven to a different location and assaulted.
Detectives investigating charged two men aged 39 and 45 with kidnapping, grievous bodily harm with intent and blackmail. Police say it was "terrifying" for the victim - who suffered facial injuries.
