Two men have been arrested after cash and drugs seizures in Co Westmeath. A man in his 30's was detained after €62,000 thousand was found when Gardaí stopped and searched a car on the Dublin Road in Mullingar yesterday evening.
He's since been charged and is due before Longford District Court this morning. Meanwhile during following up searches at 2 properties in Westmeath, cannabis worth €20,000 was recovered along with quantities of suspected cocaine and magic mushrooms. A man in his 20's was detained and is still being questioned by Gardaí.
