A local travel agent is warning people flying abroad that they are taking a risk.
This comes just days after the publication of the green list of countries safe to travel to was pushed back to the 20th of July.
Despite this a number of airlines are continuing to fly, but Mark Clifford of Hanrahan Travel in Monaghan says if you do chose to fly you need to be careful as you are not covered by travel insurance.
He has advised that anyone who is going against the current guidelines should get an EU health insurance card from the HSE to ensure they have some level of protection.
