It was a proud day for Our Lady's Secondary School in Castleblayney, County Monaghan as they opened their new 15 classroom extension.
Minister Heather Humphreys performed the official opening, which was attended by students, staff and members of the local community.
The local Minister and TD said it was a special day for all involved, including school principal Eddie Kelly and the wider school community.
Speaking at the official opening earlier, Minister Humphreys said whether you're a student or a staff member, you should all remember that together you belong to this wonderful school community, she added that today was a proud day and a day of celebration for all at the Castleblayney school. The extension includes the state-of-the-art classrooms, the new practical rooms and the upgrades to some of the existing facilities.
