13 people waiting on trolleys at Cavan General

There are currently 13 people waiting on trolleys in Cavan General Hospital.

All 13 patients are waiting in the emergency department at the hospital with no patients on trolleys in wards or elsewhere in the facility.

So far this month 87 patients at Cavan General have had to wait on trolleys until they received a bed. The figures were released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation Trolley Watch report this morning.

According to the report, 321 admitted patients were waiting for beds in hospitals across the country this morning. 241 patients are waiting in the emergency departments, while 80 are in wards across the country.
