12 people wait on trolleys at Cavan General Hospital

There are currently 12 people waiting on trolleys in Cavan General Hospital.

All 12 patients are waiting in the emergency department at the hospital with no patients on trolleys in wards or elsewhere in the facility.

The figures were released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation Trolley Watch report this morning. According to the report, 485 admitted patients were waiting for beds in hospitals across the country this morning. Of that number, 7 children under the age of 16 were admitted to hospital without a bed.
