A 11 year old from Co Monaghan has been revealed as the winner of a national colouring competition.
Ruby Scott designed a beautiful bandana for the retail company XL's new Irish Wolfhound mascot Briosca. Unique to XL, Briosca has been created to become a key brand personality that aligns with brand values - local, Irish, community - and is designed to encourage customers to support their local store.
XL stores introduced Briosca to the public by offering an interactive activity pack in participating stores and asking members of the public to take part in a colouring competition by designing a colourful bandana.
From the multitude of entries, Ruby's was selected and she, along with her family, recently received a prize of a two-night family stay in Westport, Co. Mayo. Ruby, who picked up her activity pack from her local XL store, Declan Gartlan's XL in Killanny, Carrickmacross was also presented with her own bandana, which was brought to life from her design as a special treat.
