In the North, eleven people have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of DCI John Caldwell. The senior PSNI detective was left with life changing injuries - after a dissident republican gun attack in Omagh in February.
Police say they've carried out a significant search under arrest operation this morning. 11 arrests have been made, nine men and two women ages ranging from 21 to 72 years old.
They've all been detained under the Terrorism Act in Omagh and Coalisland, but have been taken to the Serious Crime Unit in Belfast for questioning.
DCI Caldwell was seen publicly for the first time this week at a garden party hosted by the King and Queen at Northern Ireland's royal residence in Hillsborough.
